WASH FOR GIRLS
Creating Menstrual-Friendly Communities
For adolescent girls, WASH is about more than water and toilets.
Girls need access to water, privacy, sanitation, hygiene facilities and accurate information to manage menstruation safely and participate fully in school and community life.
Through our WASH and menstrual-health activities, we seek to:
- Increase knowledge about menstrual hygiene;
- Promote safe and hygienic menstrual practices;
- Improve access to menstrual-health resources;
